It is estimated that millions of people are cutting back on essential insurance cover in a bid to save money, according to new research from Sainsbury’s Finance.
Over half a million people (532,000) are estimated to have cancelled their life insurance policy.
Another 284,000 people have also reviewed their life insurance to get a cheaper deal.
